My name is ‘NONSO AZIH, a principled legal mind, seasoned advocate, and positive change agent. With over 18 years of active legal practice, I have dedicated my career to upholding justice, promoting ethical standards, and delivering results.
As Principal Counsel at AZIH & AZIH Legal Practitioners, I lead a Lagos-based lawfirm committed to excellence in dispute resolution, maritime law, employment and labour law, and commercial litigation.
My work is driven by integrity, diligence, trust, and a clear understanding of the evolving legal and business landscape.
I hold an LL.B from the University of Nigeria, and an LL.M in Commercial and Maritime Law from the University of Lagos. I am also certified in Maritime Dispute Resolution and Arbitration by the Lloyd’s Maritime Academy (UK) and serve as an accredited mediator with the Lagos State Multi-Door Courthouse (LMDC).
My legal career began during the one year compulsory National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) programme where I served at the Ministry of Justice in Niger State as a Pupil State Counsel, working directly with the Directors of Public Prosecution and Civil Litigation.
